3D is not for everyone. It takes a Number One to get the most out of highly specialized machines like these. Curti utilizes the full potential of 3D technologies, especially in the welding phase of which it is a pioneer in Italy. Today this is the most representative process of Curti innovation.
Welding in 3D: where unique pieces are born.
Welding in 3d has changed the very concept of welding. With this technology, Curti creates pieces of superior quality compared to any other machine, components that before today could only be imagined. And it is the first industry in Italy that introduced it.
Laser welding
Laser technology can satisfy any demand for aesthetic and deep welding. We can cast and join materials to a depth of 7 mm. Flexibility, speed of execution and process cleaning make 3D laser welding the best solution to reduce costs and to realize innovative products. The principle of this technique is based on the concentration of a large amount of energy onto a very small surface area, a few tenths of a millimeter in fact. The result is a very localized and fast welding with reduced heat input. Which has earned it the title "Cold Welding".
